I was in a lot of pain and not sleeping after a fall on ice. I have had a few KCR sessions with Emma and am well on the way to full recovery. Thank you, Emma.

Joy

I am so impressed with KCR.  I swear you have a touch of witchcraft, my back and hips have been sore for the majority of my life and I have never had respite from it like this before.

Harriet

I had a treatment from Emma. So very professional and so pleasant. I didn't know what to expect and Emma explained everything so clearly. I slept so much better after the treatment and generally felt much better and less "achie". Would highly recommend.

FAQ's

What can I expect during a treatment?

KCR is carried out on a fully clothed body (loose clothing is advised) with shoes removed. You will be asked about your complaint(s), medical history and sign a consent form. I will then guide you in positioning your body for each of the mobilisations and stretches throughout the protocol, working with any limitations you may have. You are in full control thoughout the treatment and can stop at any time should you not wish to continue.

How many treatments will I need?

Everyone's requirements are different and therefore there is no set number of treatments. Some people recover within 1 or 2 sessions with no further treatments needed, whilst others require more and or some CTR work to release deep restrictions. Generally though 2 or 3 appointments, close together, are the most effective with possibly a follow up appointment in 4 to 6 weeks time should you feel it is required. I also have some clients that come for maintenance or 'top ups' at various intervals, some monthly, bi-monthly and others quarterly.

Who is Kinetic Chain Release suitable for?

As KCR is a safe, gentle and non-invasive therapy, everyone can benefit from receiving a treatment. There is no age limit. Personally, to date, I have treated clients from just 2 weeks old up to 86 years young!

What should I wear for my treatment?

During your treatment you will be fully clothed, therefore loose comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in is best. Jeans are not suitable.

How can KCR claim to be the No.1 healthcare treatment in USA & Canada?

FOTO inc (Focus On Therapeutic Outcome), is a data outcome measurement system that reports on patient rehabilitation outcomes. Over a 2 year period some KCR data was collected from over 2500 Kinetic Chain Release cases, all from KCR practitioners that have been trained through the Hugh Gilbert Organisation. The results of this data were then compared against FOTO incs massive database containing over 21 million patient cases from more than 22,000 other clinicians, of which most are physiotherapists and KCR treatments came out as the Number 1 treatment for both speed and effectiveness. You can see a video of the results here or a table of the results are shown at bottom of the Kinetic Chain Release treatment page.

Are there any contraindications to having KCR?

Yes, the following conditions are contraindications: 1. Advanced Osteoporosis. 2. Osteogenesis Imperfecta. 3. Hydrocephalic Infants. 4. Pregnancy during the last two trimesters (it is safe to have KCR during the first trimester). 5. A recent stroke or similar neurological disturbance (usually we do not treat with KCR for a year to see if there is a possible re-occurance, however, if you wish to try KCR before that time, we request that you get permission from your physician before proceeding). 6. Post Surgical, including c-section. If you are still under the care of your consultant or physicians post operative protocol, I ask that you wait until your are discharged or discuss having KCR with your consultant.
